Darin Colby has over 20 years experience in portrait photography and still loves his craft. As he describes his ideal profession, "It is extremely satisfying to be able to work with people, as well as create a product that:

• is one of kind,
• becomes more valuable over time, and
• evokes such emotion."

Before starting DVC PHOTOGRAPHY, Darin was employed as an area photographic supervisor by a nationwide portrait company where he managed and trained all their photographers for 15 locations in the greater Dallas area.

Darin was inspired by his father as a young teen to "always include a face" in each photograph. The photo to the left was taken by his dad.

While taking his responsibility seriously "to capture the perfect moment," Darin always introduces an element of fun in every photo shoot. His goal is to personalize your photographic experience with creativity and shared ideas.
